Vehicle Description 1970 Chevelle SS 396 Project Car Originally code L34 350 HP 396 engine, TH400 automatic transmission, paint code 75 red, black stripes, ducted hood, black bucket seat interior, console, power steering, power disc brakes and air conditioning.
It is documented with the factory build sheet, attached cowl trim tag and driver's door sticker with VIN.
I also have an NCRS Shipping Data Report, complete DMV history and a clear title.
I bought this car 17 years ago just as it sits and have now decided it's time to pass it on.
The previous owner installed new fenders and replaced the quarter panel skins.
It has rusty trunk floor drop-offs, small amounts of rust in the trunk floor, left wheel house and driver's floor.
The transmission tunnel has an enlarged floor opening, but the rear console mount is solid and intact.
The frame is solid, the 12 bolt rear end, F41 suspension and boxed control arms are all in place.
Included are the correct carburetor and right hand exhaust manifold.
It runs and drives with it's current 454 engine and TH400 transmission.
I have 1969 and 1972 dated 396 engines available.
This car's documentation justifies a restoration to its original red splendor!.
