Job Summary Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching ffor a Product Manager to join our Product Management department in assessing opportunities for product innovation within our IVANS Insurance Solutions division. The Product Manager will support a variety of different product lines and work on these products throughout all stages of its lifecycle (conception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities), playing a proactive part in product planning and design while ensuring the product is differentiated from competitors'. Through the performance of new business analysis and market research, the Product Manager will help to define offerings, determine pricing, and drive sales results. Ensures appropriate support processes are in place, tracks and corrects product performance/support problems, and drive sales results.
Additional responsibilities include:
Elicit internal customer requirements using interviews, document review, workflow analysis, and requirements workshops
Ensure appropriate support processes are in place; track and corrects product performance/support problems
Provide sales support including complex solutions, creating flexible offerings when needed
Direct ongoing market research and gathers market requirements to ensure the product / service continues to be profitable and meets customer needs
Recommend new pricing structures, promotions, products/offerings
Develop training programs for internal and external audiences
Establish key monthly product measurements to track performance including revenue, use in customer base, sales projections, profitability, product performance and quality
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Technology, or equivalent experience

years of experience in product/project management, business analyst, and/or software development
Ability to delegate and give clear directions, as well as ability to work well within a team environment
Possesses solid time management and prioritization skills
Project and goal oriented; strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Insurance industry exposure a plus but not required
