Thunderstone Manufacturing, LLC (TS) is an engineering and tarp and trailer accessories manufacturing company with over 125 years of historical background in the Ag and Commercial Trailer Industries. Thunderstone is currently looking to hire assemblers/machine operators for our production facility in Lincoln, NE. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a stable work history.
Job Function:
Perform general manufacturing and assembly operations on tarps and related products.

Essential Functions:
Build, fasten and assemble components.
Operate fabrication equipment as assigned.
Perform preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
Practice good housing keeping and keep work area organized.
Inspect work for quality and workmanship.
Other duties as assigned by team leader or supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, specifications, and trailer schedules.
Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures and other equipment.
Ability to work with general supervision and make basic quality decisions.
Must be able to work with other employees.
Prior manufacturing experience helpful.
Equipment Used:
Various hand tools and specialized manufacturing equipment.

Working Conditions:

Ability to work in a standing position and walk around objects and equipment 100% of the time.
Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, load and unload items from machines.
Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.

Timpte/Thunderstone offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefit package. Starting pay is $12 an hour.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
