December graduates are welcome to apply! Creates project folders, files and distributes correspondence. Orders concrete repair estimates, falling weight deflectometer testing and coring. Utilizes computer software in the performance of job duties. Software includes: Microsoft Office, Pathweb, Microstation, Mainframe applications. Clairty, Pavement Management system, Falcon and Darwin. Assists the Pavement Design Engineer by providing pavement design data needed to determine pavement type, thickness and rehabilitation strategy. Prepares pavement strategies for review by the Pavement Design Engineer. Writes correspondence to District Engineers, Roadway Design personnel, and Project Development personnel. Responds to inquiries related to the pavement design projects. Meets with project stakeholders and discusses project specific details. Reviews As Built plans and records to determine existing roadway structure and factors affecting design. Evaluates existing pavement designs and techniques to find ideas for improved performance. Utilizes Standard Specifications for Highway Construction book to incorporate project specific material requirements, construction methods, methods of measurement and basis of payment. Prepares estimates of project quantities and costs. Assists field personnel and industry on pavement recycling and construction practices.
Qualifications / Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in engineering OR Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E. license).
PREFERRED: Bachelors degree in civil engineering. FE/EIT certification.
OTHER: Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation. Bachelors degrees outside of the United States must be ABET certified at the time of application. Applicants with a Masters degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution within the United States will be considered. If applicants do not have an FE/EIT certificate, they will be required to obtain one within one year of hire. Applicants will also be expected to sit for their professional engineer license exam at the first available opportunity that they are eligible. Regular and reliable attendance.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
