Dell, Inc. is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Client Technical Support Associate to join our team in Lincoln, NE.
As Technical Support Associate, you will provide basic technical support to the client's desktops & laptops via the phone, email and remote tools. Those issues that you are unable to resolve will be escalated to other internal Dell employees such as desktop support, network & server support, as well as messaging support groups. The support that we offer our clients is 24 hours, 7 days a week. Therefore night and weekend work may be required.
Role Responsibilities
Provide basic technical support to Dell's Services Clients
Troubleshoot issues that include printer set-up, password resets, troubleshooting account specific client applications, and basic diagnosing of the desktop/laptop software problems
Requirements - 2
years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
1
years of customer service experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
The ability to work in a team environment and commit to a flexible work schedule, preferably the ability to accommodate a daytime, evening or overnight shift
Fantastic communication skills and current customer service experience is necessary
Exposure to troubleshooting Windows (Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7) Exchange and basic network troubleshooting
Previous experience troubleshooting desktop, printer and notebook issues
Preferences - Exposure to troubleshooting Windows (Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7)
Exchange and basic network troubleshooting
3-5 years technical experience a plus
Previous experience troubleshooting desktop, printer and notebook issues
Very strong user and support of MS Office
Associate's Degree
ITIL Certification
