Eye Surgical Associates is the most experienced ophthalmology clinic in Lincoln, NE. We specialize in medical and surgical treatment of the eye. Our 11 board certified ophthalmologists and one optometrist possess an immense amount of experience, offering a high level of assurance that their patient's vision is in the best of hands.
We are looking for a candidate for the Medical Billing Specialist position. We offer a comprehensive training program, competitive wages, and excellent benefits.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 80 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks).
Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for accurate billing and payment entry on patient accounts.
  • Will process insurance prior authorizations and denials.
  • Responsible for claims processing, claims reviews, and requisitions.
  • Assist in coding process.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task, provide excellent customer service, and good computer skills are essential.
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience with utilization and authorization preferred.
  • Accounting or medical office experience preferred.
  • Coding experience preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
