We are looking for a skilled, professional Psychologist.
In this role you will be an integral part of our Behavioral Health Division and provide critical care to adult patients with mental illness at Lincoln Regional Center (LRC), an inpatient, 250-bed, Joint Commission-accredited state psychiatric hospital which is run by NE DHHS and is located in Lincoln, NE.
LRC serves people who need very specialized psychiatric services and provides services to people who, because of mental illness, require a highly structured treatment setting.

Starting pay rate:
$55.
29/hour.
Provisionally licensed starting pay rate:
$45.
68/hourWork Schedule:

Monday-Friday with some flexibility.
Partial remote work opportunities available.
Examples of WorkThe psychologist in this position provides clinical services to women committed to the Lincoln Regional Center by the courts or mental health boards.
This requires knowledge of clinical treatment and assessment methods for adults with serious mental illness, personality disorders, substance use disorders, sex offending behaviors, and other dangerous behaviors towards self and others.
The psychologist will provide psychological testing, therapeutic treatment, and discharge planning.
Court and mental health board testimony may be needed.
Preference will be given to psychologists that have experience providing trauma informed care and or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Qualifications / RequirementsREQUIREMENTS:
Must be licensed to practice psychology in the state of Nebraska.
PREFERRED Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness and personality disorders Experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Experience with trauma informed care experience working in a psychiatric hospital, forensic mental health unit, or correctional environment.
OTHER:
Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportationKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesComputer skills; Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of relevant laws, ethical codes, and regulations.
