Under general supervision, serves as administrative assistant to Volunteer Services and Activities.
Provide professional level planning, organizing, administering, and monitoring of program-administrative functions, processes, and resources pertinent to the Central Nebraska Veterans Home mission.
May serve as team coordinator of special projects; performs related work as assigned and assist in all agency administrative functions.
Schedule:
M-F 8:
00am-4:
30pm.
Hours may vary depending on facility needs with evenings, weekend, holidays and split shiftsHiring Rate:

155/hour
$3/hour differential for hours worked! Examples of Work Interpret policies, procedures, and processes pertinent to the Activities/Volunteer Department and agency and functions of position.
Collect, organize, summarize and prepare for presentation statistical, administrative and/or other records.
Recruit, screen, train, schedule and supervise volunteers to meet identified facility needs.
Perform miscellaneous staff functions such as perform library services oversite, copying, faxing, filing, communicating orally, verbally, and electronically.
Qualifications / Requirements REQUIREMENTS:
Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
PREFERRED:
Experience in office management; or in developing and implementing work policies, processes, and procedures; or in monitoring and organizing program, administrative, or technical activities.
OR Post high school coursework in:
administration, management, accounting, finance, planning, policy analysis, administrative/management analysis, operations research, program evaluation, research, or similar fields.
Public relations, volunteer coordination and fundraising Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work with a variety of IT/computer devices and software.
Ability to:
interact with immediate supervisor and senior managers, co-workers, volunteers, donors, members and the public to gain their cooperation and to establish work relationships.
