This position is physically located at 555 S.
10th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508.
This is highly responsible administrative work participating in the overall direction and coordination of the Lancaster County Assessor/Register of Deeds Office.
Supervision may be exercised over subordinate staff.
This position requires a great deal of interaction with colleagues, customers and agencies at the county, city and state level.
Nature of Work/Examples of Work Performed Work will involve examining departmental operations and recommending necessary improvements in administrative planning and organization.
It will also include drafting office policies and standard operating procedures, contract and records management, drafting press releases and creating website and social media content.
Work will also involve facilitating a culture of teamwork, personal growth and customer service.
Desirable Knowledge, Abilities & Skills/Desirable Training & Experience Desired skills include knowledge of process improvement structures, management and organization principles and administrative policies and procedures.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat Standard/Professional, electronic document management systems and website maintenance.
Strong communication and organizational skills, acute attention to detail and a high level of emotional intelligence.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in public or business administration or related field or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.
Employees must work a least 30 hours per week to be eligible for insurance benefits.
Vacation leave, sick leave, and holidays are prorated for part time employees based upon the hours worked per week.
Temporary, seasonal, and on-call employees are not eligible for benefits.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
