The Facilities Assistant position provides quality support and superior customer service by helping maintain optimally functioning facilities, building systems and equipment for Telesis, Inc.
and its subsidiaries.
Essential Functions Maintain preventative maintenance plans as scheduled for buildings, grounds, and equipment Provide basic inspections, maintenance and upkeep of each facility based on an established schedule o Perform minor plumbing repairs o Repair minor roof leaks o Clean/repair gutters and downspouts o Swimming pool maintenance Coordinate general maintenance and repair with contractors and vendors Coordinate and execute parking for football games, Haymarket and Pinnacle Arena events Assist in the organization and inventory of Telesis Holdings assets Assist in data entry into asset database and utility dashboards Answer emergency alarms, tenant alarms, and address any related tenant concerns Change locksets and have keys made for all properties as needed Oversee completion of annual property inspections and following severe weather Assist with snow and ice removal and coordinate concerns with contracted service Demo, clean out, move furniture, and prepare properties for occupancy Ensure annual inspections of certificates for fire systems, sprinkler systems and elevators are completed and filed properly Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners and copiers.
This role will include some outdoor activities in varying weather conditions.
Frequent exposure to undeveloped buildings including dust, dirt, steam, fumes-vapor, and chemicals.

hours a week Requirements:
Competencies Working knowledge of how to communicate effectively with R & M vendors Working knowledge of tools and power tools Basic maintenance knowledge of gas and electric powered vehicles Must have a valid driver's license Ability to maintain confidentiality of company's proprietary and sensitive information Ability to communicate well and understand information and instruction Physical Demands While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
The employee is frequently required to walk or stand.
The employee is required to bend, twist or reach as well as lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work in high places (on ladders, roofs, etc.
).
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision preferred.
Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or its equivalent Preferred Education and Experience High School Diploma or its equivalent, with one to three years of experience in property maintenance.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
