Fleet Maintenance Technician

Bauer Built is headquartered in Durand, Wisconsin and is a leader in the distribution of tires for commercial, retail, passenger, off-road, and agricultural markets. We operate 30 sales locations and 7 retread production facilities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.
We are currently seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician for our store in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Responsibilities:
Service, maintain, and repair of our customers' semi trucks and trailers to include electrical, brake, steering, suspension systems, and more
Alignments and installation of related parts
Perform necessary DOT inspections
Provide preventative maintenance to meet equipment schedule needs and customer requirements
Qualifications of ideal candidates:
Relevant technical degree or the equivalent in years of experience
ASE certification is strongly desired
Possesses a strong leadership aptitude
Highly dependable individual who enjoys working under minimal supervision
Strives to exceed customer expectations
Exhibits a passionate for detail
Clean driving record (specifically within the past three years)
Committed to safety
Strong customer service orientation with good oral and written communication skills
Welding experience
Ability to provide own tools
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a face-paced environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
