Description Benefits Supplemental Questions
Temporary positions full and part time for a minimum of three months, and not to exceed six months. Schedule to be determined. Under general supervision, these temporary positions will perform entry level field work involving dam safety inspections, stream gaging, water rights administration functions, and will assist in documenting results.
Examples of Work:
Assist in monitoring pumping and diversions during irrigation season. Assist with investigations and reporting regarding compliance with Nebraska water law. Assist in performing stream and canal discharge measurements. Participate in the conduct of dam safety inspections. Assist with servicing and maintenance of stream flow gaging stations.
Qualifications / Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS: Coursework/training or experience in natural or water resources, hydrology, geology, floodplain management or related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of GIS, water/natural resources, basic math skills, data gathering and record keeping techniques. Ability to work in and around water and rough terrain under varying environmental conditions. Ability to lift 75 pounds. Valid driver''s license and overnight travel is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
