Adjunct Nursing Faculty is needed to teachclinicalin a senior level medical/surgical nursing course at Bryan College of Health Sciences School of Nursing. The position requires the individual to have a completed Master of Science in Nursing degree. The position will include teaching clinical on a medical/surgical unit at Bryan Medical Center. The individual will be required to make student assignments on Mondays, and complete two eight hour days of clinical on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The faculty member will also be required to complete student evaluations at the end of each clinical week. Experience in medical/surgical nursing is required. Experience in teaching is preferred. Orientation will begin upon hire so the individual is ready to do clinical rotations when the new academic year begins in August.

The Adjunct Faculty is responsible for development, planning, implementation and evaluation of the theoretical and clinical components of assigned courses. Demonstrates the ability to teach in individual, small and large group settings and functions under the direction of the Dean of the program. Participates in ongoing systematic evaluation activities as assigned.
Plans, implements and evaluates educational activities according to College policies, course credits, course objectives and available resources.
Relates professionally to colleagues and serves in faculty roles of advisor, mentor, role model, advocate, facilitator and competent educator.
Utilizes instructional methods which promote student development of critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making and life long learning.
Conveys knowledge and principles of the field of study clearly and concisely in the educational setting.
Manages the educational environment to facilitate an optimal learning experience.
Adapts teaching to varied delivery methods including distance-learning options if applicable.
Initiates communication about concerns or problems with appropriate personnel.
General Education (Undergraduate): Master s degree with minimum of eighteen (18) graduate credits completed in area of teaching responsibility required. Doctoral degree preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred.
General Education (Graduate): Doctoral degree with minimum of eighteen (18) graduate credits completed in area of teaching responsibility required. Previous teaching experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
