The Special Events and Design Coordinator is focused on event coordination and graphic design for the organization's internal and external communications.
Essential Job Functions:
Graphic Design Design print and digital visual materials for internal and external communications, such as quarterly newsletters, program flyers, website graphics, promotional items and advertisements.
Conceptualize and create outreach pieces and printed materials for special events.
Collaborate with Corporate Partnerships Director to prepare materials for corporate sponsorship opportunities of fundraising events and campaigns.
Maintain brand integrity of the Food Bank's visual communications.
Special Events Research, design and implement Food Bank of Lincoln's special events, including logistics, event tone/theme and focus on selected audiences.
Deliver exceptional customer service in all forms of communication, including in-person, over the phone, and via written correspondence.
Collaborate across departments to share event planning knowledge and resources in a timely manner.
Manage special events budgets.
Duties Monitor, track and report on all event and campaign-related fundraising efforts.
Work collaboratively with the supervisor in pre-event planning, program execution and post-event recap.
Work collaboratively with Marketing and Communications and Fundraising and Engagement teams to generate new ideas or adjustments to current practices that lead to more efficient and effective events and partnerships.
Manage project assignments and plans in accordance with schedule, budget, scope, audience requirements, quality, and Food Bank resources.
Provide insightful feedback to work colleagues that enhances their knowledge, understanding, and involvement in special events.
Deliver prompt and useful communication in all forms of correspondence and always with a tone of superior customer service.
Be an ambassador of Food Bank of Lincoln hospitality by proactively greeting staff and visitors with a warm welcome, and by providing useful information/direction for volunteers, neighbors, donors and other guests.
Serve as a backup to the Front Office Specialist as a point of contact for guests who visit or contact the Food Bank.
Serve as backup to Front Office Specialist to schedule special promotions, working closely with Operations team to ensure detailed, accurate information for deliveries and pickups.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Hospitality, Arts, Communications, Journalism, or a related area required.
2-3 years communications/development experience preferred.
Strong graphic design capabilities and proven proficiency working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite software.
Experience with donor database software a plus.
Advanced writing and editing skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Ability to balance creativity and structure.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
