The Nebraska Creative Districts (NCD) Coordinator works in close collaboration with the Director of the NCD program and the agency Executive Director in achieving goals and objectives for the NCD program and the agency as outlined guidelines for the program and the agency strategic plan.
The coordinator also collaborates with agency colleagues in the planning and development of special initiatives of the agency.

Apply to join our team today! Examples of Work Coordinates the operations of the Nebraska Creative Districts (NCD) program, including processing applications, review panels, payments, reports, and providing technical assistance to applicants.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships between NAC and other organizations and state agencies.
Maintain data base, spreadsheets and files for the NCD Program.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships between NAC and other organizations and state agencies.
Undertake other duties as assigned and required by the needs of a small agency.
Other duties as assigned within the scope of the classification.
Qualifications / Requirements REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree in public or business administration, accounting, or any discipline related to the work assigned.
One year of experience in administrative, business management or technical support work including collecting and interpreting statistical, financial, program, or administrative data; or interpreting laws, rules, regulations, and processes.
Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
PREFERRED:
oExperience with grants management programs (Foundant)oBilingual or conversant in SpanishOTHER:
This position requires travel.
As such, the incumbent must be able to present a valid driver's license or another form of reliable transportation.
Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work with a variety of people in a supportive and diplomatic way.
Ability to problem-solve and develop creative solutions.
General familiarity with the geography, history, and communities of Nebraska.
Experience in economic development is encouraged.
General knowledge of all arts disciplines including specific expertise in one or more arts discipline.
