This is a temporary position estimated to last approximately 4 months.
Examples of Work:
Assist the Highway Civil Rights Specialist by maintaining files and databases in regards to the Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE), Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) and Contractor Compliance programs. Assist the Highway Civil Rights Specialist with documents of inspections and reviews and prepares EEO Contractor Compliance Review reports for FHWA. Receives PR 1391 EEO Reports and prepares PR 1392 Annual EEO Report for FHWA.
Qualifications / Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS: Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; research; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency. OR Experience in performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.
PREFERRED: Experience tracking information. Experience reviewing documents for accuracy. Experience/training with MS Excel. Writing skills and experience using MS Word.
OTHER: Regular and reliable attendance is also required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to prioritize and work independently on multiple projects; attention to detail; meet deadlines and on occasion deal with contractors.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
