The Lincoln Journal Star is looking for an ambitious, self-starting weekend content coordinator to help direct news gathering and print and digital efforts during the evening hours.
Most weeks, the weekend content coordinator would work four, 10-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings. Candidates should be excited about the future of our rapidly changing industry and recognize the importance of reaching and appealing to a growing online audience.
The weekend content coordinator will work with the weekend editor, other city desk editors, reporters and a regional design center with the goal of producing and featuring our very best work in print and online.
Lincoln is a growing capital city, and the Journal Star is in the middle of the action. We're just blocks from a new 15,000-seat arena and a burgeoning entertainment district with bars, restaurants and music venues. Lincoln has strong K-12 schools, a Big Ten university and cultural and recreational options.

## Qualifications
This job requires strong print and digital news judgment, familiarity with online and social media tools and understanding of strong print design. One year of reporting or editing experience is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
