Department: Plating Job Title: Plater (2nd Shift) Job Grade: Hourly ($15.44 - $22.42) Brief Description of Job Duties: Able to run parts through the plating line to meet plating specifications and complete documentation accurately. Handle chemicals and line machinery in a safe manner. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following: 1. Make sure plating specifications are met per engineering standards. 2. Monitor and visually inspect all parts produced. 3. Able to operate all measurement equipment. 4. Implement and maintain SPC charts. 5. Make necessary line adjustments dictated by SPC charts. 6. Follow production schedules utilizing most effective line/part efficiency. 7. Set up parts with no assistance and minimum time and scrap and run multiple lines. 8. Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery and lines. 9. Check and adjust bath levels. 10. Follow all safety rules when handling hazardous chemicals and maintain housekeeping standards. 11. Assist fellow co-workers and provide on-the-job training when required. 12. Monitor waste treatment equipment and R.O. operation. High School graduate with good mechanical ability, good written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of SPC, ability to anticipate problems and take corrective measures, recognize areas to upgrade present equipment, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Previous plating experience is a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
